Vintage Anatomy Reproduction Human Skeleton Print

520 kr

Large Handmade Vintage Science Pull Down Chart Reproduction.
Ready to hang!

This handmade faux pull down chart features a reproduction of a vintage anatomy print. The original art is by Andreas Vesalius (31 December 1514 – 15 October 1564). He was an anatomist, physician, and author of one of the most influential books on human anatomy, De humani corporis fabrica (On the Fabric of the Human Body) The art has been scanned in, cropped, and retouched to ensure the highest quality reproduction possible. It is then printed on beautiful textured canvas with dark stained wood trim. One of the best features of this print is that it is ready to hang, no framing needed (just a nail or hook).

- Size: approx 33x45cm (13" x 18"), wood trim width is 1,3cm (1/2")
- Black hanging string

These handmade wall hangings are inspired by Kate Pembertons love of vintage nature inspired pull down charts. The simple, natural, and rustic appeal they have, and also, who doesn't love a piece of art that is ready to hang with no framing!

Archival ink & canvas. Prints ship in a sturdy shipping tube to ensure art is in pristine condition when you receive it.

Curious Prints
Purveyor of Vintage Reproduction Prints and Home Goods
The creation of Louisiana born designer Kate Pemberton. What started as an outlet to share the vintage images she loved so much has grown into a lifestyle brand offering wall decor, home accessories and stationary.
I have always been fascinated by birds, insects, the creepy crawly things I came across as a kid. I grew up on a farm in South Louisiana and it's still my happy place. As my personal collection of vintage science prints has grown, I have discovered how much I love connecting with others through a shared love of vintage art. As a graphic designer by trade, I have developed a passion for retouching and restoring vintage images and experimenting with the printing process. This curated collection is ever evolving and I continue to try out new processes and materials." - K.P.
Curious Prints is operated in their East Austin, Texas studio.
